Hello There!

Welcome to Katy’s Little Kitchen.

What started as helping my parents in the kitchen turned into an obsession with the Food Network. That turned into Wine Country living where I learned about the intricacies of food and beverage pairing, along with the art of entertaining.

The fascination evolved and changed when I moved to San Francisco and adjusted to a San Francisco sized kitchen, which grew into cooking classes and hosting in a San Francisco sized living room, and now is making it’s way to the interwebs. For so long friends and family have asked me for recipes, or to show them “how to make that thing you made for that one party”, and more. So I finally decided to take my recipe book that has handwritten, smudged with who knows what recipe cards and go digital. Not all of these recipes are my own - I have an intense love of cook books, and get so much joy exploring cities via their food culture.

However - I don’t enjoy measuring or following exact directions, and I often break many of the “rules” of cooking, so in some way - they are mine.
